People whose income is below the statutory threshold, and certain people with disabilities receiving a pension or state social assistance, may receive all types of free secondary legal aid.
A lawyer will calculate eligibility using the current subsistence minimum and the income rules applicable to your category. Please bring recent income, pension or social assistance information if available.

A Free Legal Aid system lawyer or a lawyer cooperating with the system may represent your interests where the law provides this service.

Recalculation, arrears, refusal of payments and confirmation of insurance records.

Dismissal, unpaid wages, employment records and workplace discrimination.
Housing and utilities
Housing rights, utility debt disputes, subsidies and ownership matters.
Family and inheritance
Child support, divorce, inheritance and establishing legal facts.
What to bring, if available
- identity document and tax number, if available;
- income statements for the relevant period;
- pension or social assistance certificate;
- decisions, letters, contracts and other documents related to the legal issue.

Receive the appropriate service
You may receive advice immediately. Where secondary legal aid is required, the centre will process an application and appoint a legal aid provider.
Eligibility and the scope of services are governed by the Law of Ukraine “On Free Legal Aid”. The lawyer will assess the current law and the facts of your case.
