Selection of Lawyers

How lawyers can apply to cooperate with the Free Legal Aid system.

Cooperating with the Free Legal Aid system

Selection is the route to the Register of Lawyers providing free secondary legal aid

Independent lawyers cooperating with the Free Legal Aid system defend and represent people entitled to state-funded legal aid. Selection assesses professional experience, motivation, communication and readiness to work with clients in difficult circumstances.

Application period

Registration opens only after an official selection announcement

The announcement specifies the participating regions, timetable, eligibility requirements and application link. Before registration opens, candidates can prepare their documents and review the current rules.
